Earlier this year, we were thrilled to welcome the Grade 6 students from St. Thomas and Charlestown Primary Schools on Nevis, studying tourism, along with their dedicated teachers, to Vanilla Paradise Nevis. Nestled on land with a storied past, our vanilla farm stands where sugarcane once thrived and stone-breaking echoed through the 1960s. Amidst the rusted relics of forgotten machinery, we faced a daunting question: what to do with all these metal odds and ends? Join us on a journey of transformation and discovery!

In 2023, Vanilla Paradise Nevis took a step toward preserving our island’s natural heritage. We proudly participated in International Biodiversity Day by pledging to plant 30 local coconut trees on the very land that had been cleared for our vanilla shade houses. But our commitment didn’t stop there.

Nevis, a beautiful island in the Caribbean, is home to a vibrant community of artists, including Vaughn Anslyn. A native artist, Vaughn creates beautiful paintings and murals of the flora, fauna, and life on Nevis. One of his remarkable works is the painting of vanilla orchids on a large rock at the entrance of Vanilla Paradise Nevis.

We've already opened a few Advent calendar windows, sent off our letters to Santa, and our minds are filled with thoughts of all the delicious festive treats we'll be preparing.
