A Serial Entrepreneur: One Business at a Time

After a full and enriching international career in accounting and finance working with global companies, I founded and ran my own fiduciary business and payrolling company, The Business Harbour, in Switzerland, despite many challenges. It was not common for women to start their own businesses at that time in this country, and if women did work, it was generally in support positions.

In addition, I embraced further responsibilities by sitting on the boards of various companies and institutions in Geneva, such as the Banque Cantonale de Genève, Bruellan, pension funds and a not-for-profit association, GenèveRoule, with dual objectives of promoting cycling and socio-occupational integration., I was proud to be a part of these organisations and contribute to their success. I am also, happily, a mother and needed to navigate the daily challenges of all these roles.

Looking back on my journey, perhaps I would have done some things differently, but the challenges I faced made me stronger and more resilient, and my achievements have filled me with a sense of pride and fulfillment. As a female entrepreneur, I hope to inspire other women to pursue their dreams and to show them that with determination and hard work, anything is possible.

I encourage all women to follow their passions, just as I did.
